America’s number one problem today is not political; it is moral and spiritual. We live in an incredibly promiscuous age—worldwide—with every kind of vileness, vice, licentiousness, barbarism, and decadence practiced and exalted by all political persuasions. Individual responsibility and a willingness to accept the consequences of one’s own actions are almost unheard of—especially on the perverted, degenerate Left. America has caught this virus and become a selfish, pleasure-loving society, and no society can survive that for long. And the problem appears to be expanding.
The most vital part of any individual’s education is his moral education—teaching strong character, self-control and self-discipline, a sense of duty toward others and responsibility towards family, society, and oneself. When a people loses that goal in their education system, they lose their cohesion, their normality, their minds. Noah Webster’s dictum was that “education is useless without the Bible”; in other words, moral education is paramount, and his wisdom has been verified since America booted God and His Book out of our schools and replaced them with atheistic “science,” “diversity,” and “grooming.”
The results are manifest in America: rising divorce and crime rates; 40 percent of all births (nearly 70% in the black community) are out-of-wedlock, virtually destroying the nuclear family; we have a political party where murdering babies is their most cherished belief (killing non-wanted, “non-essential” sub-humans has always been a cardinal mantra of Leftism). And there is exploding promiscuity in the form of premarital sex, adultery, homosexuality, rape, pornography, and even lust for sex with children.
Countless millions of Americans don’t even know what a man and a woman are anymore, or the definition of marriage in God’s eyes. Half the people think they ought to live off the other half, and vote for politicians who love to make it so. That’s the new morality in America, and, not surprisingly, it is tearing the nation apart. And politicians are chief in all of this, and largely the cause of it.
We have stopped looking up for inspiration and guidance, and now look only to ourselves, where self-centeredness and personal indulgence become the be-all of our existence. Too many Americans have been maleducated by those who are equally mis-educated and unrestrained, and who want no restraints, and most Americans are currently too myopic to realize what is happening. This has created a fractured society, and the splintering is growing with no end in sight. How can you have a united people when “every man does that which is right in his own eyes”? That is the very definition of societal chaos and disunion.
And neither political party is pointing us back to moral responsibility. In fact, the Democrats are doing exactly the opposite.
Look at the de Tocqueville quote again for what has happened: our “taste for physical gratification . . . has grown more rapidly than [our] education.” What a brilliant analysis and 100% accurate in modern America. Proper education (moral education) is the only thing (except totalitarian terror) that can put restraints on physical gratification, that can guide the desires all humans have into correct, appropriate channels. And when that education is lacking, “the time will come when men are carried away and lose all self-restraint.”
The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted to hold Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress. The matter will now be referred to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution.
Senator John Curtis (R. Ut.) introduced legislation to permit States to establish visa programs in order to expand the number of aliens in their “temporary” work force. What? Sigh. Unbelievably, Senator Curtis makes me miss Mitt Romney (R. Ut.). And that is not a good thing.
Senator Tim Kaine (D. Va.) characterized the narco-terrorists running drugs into the United States, and whose boats were blown to smithereens, as “murder victims”. Sigh. No. No they are not. But you cannot be surprised when Tim Kaine sides with the criminals over the American people these criminals are killing.
A federal judge–an Obama appointee–in New York blocked the State’s law forbidding ICE agents from wearing masks. Even Leftist Democrat judges know that laws like these, also enacted in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Virginia, are garbage.
On Monday, Comrade Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s (D. N.Y.) announced that government owned grocery stores will require a photo ID to shop there. You do not need to show photo ID to vote in an election, but if you want to buy a banana . . . .
But on Tuesday, Comrade Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that no photo ID will be required to shop at government owned grocery stores. Apparently, someone reminded Comrade Mayor that photo IDs are racist. Also, photo IDs would disproportionately impact illegal aliens.
Comrade Mayor Mamdani’s government owned grocery stores will track what you buy, how much, and there will be a limit on what you can buy. Just like in the Soviet Union.
The Denver, Colorado City Council will begin its meetings with a “labor acknowledgement”, expressing regret for slavery. Which is interesting, because there was never slavery in Colorado. And Colorado was not even a State until following The Late Unpleasantness. But it makes the Leftists feel better, so . . . .
The U.S. Justice Department has sued to shut down a broad gun ban in Montgomery County, Maryland that prohibits even licensed owners from carrying their weapons within 100 yards of schools, parks, recreation centers, churches, libraries and a host of other places “of public assembly.” Federal lawyers said the county’s law is so broad it makes it nearly impossible for law-abiding gun owners to carry their firearms as they go about their business.
Radical Leftist gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong (D. Wi.) does not just hate Thanksgiving. She is also opposed to Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Independence Day. Sigh. I’ll bet this commie is all in for celebrating May Day.

USA Today ranks Santa Barbara, California’s Habit Burger over Orange County’s In-N-Out Burger. Horse hockey! In-N-Out is superior to all other burger chains! And no one reads USA Today!
Holland Koontz likes Habit Burger. But not as much as In-N-Out. In-N-Out has Animal Fries. Habit Burger does not.
Cracker Barrel is on the right direction with the dismissal of its “woke” CEO, but it still has a ways to go to make things right with longtime customers. The restaurant chain removed its most popular breakfast option, the Sunrise Sampler, which is a platter that combines eggs, grits, fried apples, hash brown casserole, sausage, bacon, country ham and biscuits with gravy. It is way too much food, but customers love it. Cracker Barrel also removed black eyed peas and baked apple dumpling. Customers are demanding the return of these staples.
How do you not have black eyed peas on a Southern themed restaurant menu? It makes no sense!
The WNBA was founded as an all-women’s professional basketball league. These players could not compete in the NBA. The WNBA, which is subsidized by the NBA, is the opportunity for women to play basketball after college. Given that irrefutable fact, why are so many in the WNBA insisting that men (i.e. “trans” women) be permitted to play in the league? It makes no sense.
Julie Tetart (not his real name) is a man who pretends to be a woman. He was a mediocre basketball player in a French men’s league. But since he began pretending to be a woman, he has become a “star” in a women’s league. Guess what? Now Mr. Tetart wants to play in the WNBA. Surprise!
