The United States of House of Representatives will vote on a bill to make Daylight Savings Time permanent. A terrible idea, that was hated when it was imposed on the American people in the 1970s. A much better plan would be to eliminate Daylight Savings Time altogether. But that would make too much sense.

And somehow, her campaign omits any mention of her previous opposition to them, when she had the chance to vote for them. Fascinating.

A woman dropped dead in the bakery aisle, at the Vons grocery store in Granada Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Vons officials made the decision to not close the store. Rather, the store’s management placed grocery carts around the body, blocking other shoppers’ view of the dead woman. The store continued to conduct its normal business, while the woman’s family sat for 4 hours waiting for Los Angeles County officials to conduct an investigation and remove the body. I’ve never been a big fan of Vons, and am less one now. What a horrible, stupid, very bad decision these idiots made in the face of tragedy.
Culver City, California imposed a moratorium on approving businesses with drive-thru lanes, while working on a permanent ban on drive-thru lanes. This was all in response to a proposed In-N-Out location in Culver City. Local NIMBYers raised all sorts of outrage, crying about pollution, bike lanes, automobiles, walkability, safety, and, of course, “climate change”. City officials agreed that automobile traffic should be “discouraged”. In Southern California? Really?

Israeli citizens blocked a convoy of vehicles traveling in Judea near a village that had been occupied by Arab terrorists. The convoy sought to travel down a closed security road. The convoy included Representative Ro Khanna (D. Ca.). The Israeli citizens blocking the closed security road summoned the Israeli Defense Force, which arrived, and then dispersed the citizens. The IDS did not allow the convoy to proceed on the closed security road, but did allowing the convoy to proceed in a different direction.
Well; this “outrage” has forced Representative Khanna to consider running for President in 2028, in order to restore “civility” and “respect for human rights throughout the world”.
