The communists are coming! The communists are coming! The communists are coming! And unbelievably, voters are putting them into office. Democrat voters, that is.

The 1917 Russian Revolution brought the communists to power, and the establishment of the Soviet Union. The United States refused to recognize the Soviet Union. Because in the 1920s, people knew communism was evil. Indeed, people knew communism was evil in the ’30s, ’40s, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. It was a central tenet of American foreign policy to oppose the spread of communism. The Cold War, which lasted from approximately 1947 until 1991, was aimed foursquare at the Soviet Union and the threat of communism to freedom everywhere.

But now, in the United States of all places, the communists are gaining power. Once they achieve it, it will not be relinquished. History teaches that fact. Sadly, few in the United States seem to know any history.

President Trump warned the oil companies that the price of gasoline better come down quickly, or else face “price gouging” investigations. Sigh. One would think that a man who studied economics as The Wharton School would know that there is no such thing as “price gouging”.

Congressional Democrats are outraged that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act has expired, and are demanding its renewal. Which is interesting, since it was Congressional Democrats who voted to block FISA’s renewal.

Representative Ilhan Omar (D. Mn.) was initially worth only a few thousand dollars. Then her Congressional financial disclosures showed her net worth at $30 million. Then she amended that disclosure to show a net worth of $125,000.00. BUT NOW, Ilhan Omar claims that she maintains a negative net worth, as she and her husband are in debt to the tune of about $30,000.00. What in the world . . . ?

Sigh. Will you just please go away? No likes you. No one ever liked you.

You know the relationship that needs to end? Joy Reid’s relationship with the United States. Her parents are from Africa. Perhaps she might be happier there.

She is lying.  None of that is true.  Someone should sue her into bankruptcy.

State Senator Wiener, an openly gay, radical activist, says he will not allow Christians to claim the rainbow as a symbol.  He announced on social media that the rainbow belongs exclusively to the LGBT community.

The State of Maryland is buying The Preakness Stakes, in order to ensure the race never leaves Maryland. I guess there is no limit to government action, or its spending of other people’s money.

The United States Senate voted to force President Trump to cease all hostilities against Iran, with the assistance of 4 Republican Senators. What kind of message does that send to Iran? Hmmmmm.

Now that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is on his way out, Reform Party leader Nigel Farage is calling for a snap election. He’s right; putting another Labour party official in power is not going to right the ship.

VPI announced that Florida Atlantic University’s Brian White would be the school’s new athletic director. Time will tell if this was a wise decision.

President Trump will be attending the World Cup finals. Cue the Leftist meltdown.
