“No one can serve two masters; they will either hate the one and love the other or be devoted to the one and despise the other.” –St. Michael. Life is God’s gift to us. We owe it to him to treat it as precious, and be grateful for His Blessing. “I realize how precious lifeContinue reading “AUGUST 18, 2026”

“Defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.” –St. Michael. Welcome to Monday. I had a great weekend. English flies back this morning from Dallas. Dudley is quite excited. So am I. So much so, that I think I will pick her up at Dulles Airport. It is the least I can do. It would be a long walk home for her, otherwise. And I would have to make my own martinis thisContinue reading “August 10, 2026”

In today’s Epistle, S. Paul continues his teaching on the nature of the Body of Christ. Remember that the church at Corinth, founded by S. Paul, had not grown to Christian maturity. Owing to the composition of its members, largely Gentile and formerly pagan, as well as the hedonistic influence of the city of Corinth, theContinue reading “AUGUST 9, 2026”
