The Left held a series of “No Kings” rallies across the nation over the weekend. These were nothing but virtue signaling gatherings, largely populated by white women, old people, and hipster doofuses. The point was apparently to let everyone know that . . . Orange Man Bad.
The rallies in several cities were violent. Demonstrators in Portland, Oregon wore gas masks, and physically attacked police trying to keep order. In Dallas, Texas, Leftists attacked counter-demonstrators, hurling fists and profanities. And in Los Angeles, California, Leftists carried “Palestinian” and Mexican flags, and threw cement cinderblocks at police. New York City protestors carried the most vulgar and profane signs, shouting their vulgarities at police, and demanded an end of hostilities with Iran, the deportation of illegal aliens, and, of course, blamed Jews for everything.
The most amusing “No Kings” rally occurred in London, England. Seriously; people in a country with a king, were protesting America, where there is no king. You cannot make this stuff up.
The common denominator with all these rallies were the open calls for communist revolution, and the hatred of Jews, and the hatred of America. Which makes sense, since these rallies were funded, in large part, by the Chinese Communist Party.
Beginning in June, U.S. currency will bear the signature of Donald Trump. That popping sound you hear is the sound of Leftist heads exploding in anger.
The United States Senate passed a funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security that omitted any funding for ICE or the Border Patrol Then the cowardly Senators fled town for a 2 week vacation.
The United States House of Representatives rejected the deficient Senate spending bill, and instead passed a short term (8 week) funding bill for the entire Department of Homeland Security. Maybe Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R. S.D.) can get his colleagues to return to Washington, D.C., and do their jobs. Probably not.
Senator Bernie Sanders (I. Vt.) quickly departed D.C., sitting in a first class seat on a plane bound for Boston. Do socialists fly first class? Apparently so.
Representative Pramila Jayapal (D. Wa.) wants the federal government to pay reparations to illegal aliens for the “trauma” visited upon them by ICE. Sigh. Read that sentence again. A member of Congress thinks that criminals should be compensated for the “trauma” of being arrested and punished.
Senate Democrats have been opposing the SAVE Act, claiming that they do not oppose requiring photo IDs when voting, but insisting that other provisions of the bill are wrong. So Senate Republicans introduced a different bill, the sole provision of which required photo IDs when voting. Just 2 years ago, every Senate Democrat voted in favor of legislation that required photo IDs when voting. But this year, no. A hard “no”. What is the difference? Well . . . Orange Man Bad.
National Security Agency communications intercepts demonstrate that Ukraine laundered money–LOTS OF MONEY–into the China Joe reelection campaign. Oh, well, no harm, no foul. Nothing to see here.
In an unrelated story, President Trump jaywalked across Pennsylvania Avenue, in Washington, D.C. TYRANT! ARREST HIM! NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW! Except Democrats.

I think that what we’ve seen is that there’s an attempt to make many in our city feel as if they are alone, when they believe that ICE has no place in our city, when they believe that every single New Yorker who lives in this city belongs in this city, and should be made to feel as if such.”

He is so full of it. Illegal aliens are not New Yorkers, and do not belong in New York City. They need to return to the Third World country from which they came.
In downtown Chicago, Illinois, a mob of teenagers gathered and engaged in riotous violence. Property was destroyed, cars hijacked, pedestrians beaten and robbed, and police attacked. And this is not a one off; apparently it happens regularly. Wow.
“This is not normal. These guys [ICE agents] aren’t doing a damn thing. They weren’t qualified to be here in Minnesota. They’re not qualified to be at the airport, and they are dang sure not qualified to be anywhere near a polling station. But I would be absolutely shocked if he [Donald Trump] is not already making plans. I mean, Democratic states are seeing this assault. We have the most secure, fairest elections anywhere, and they’re still coming for it.”

Virginia General Assembly Republicans demanded a gas tax holiday in the Commonwealth, due to rising gasoline prices. Governor Abigail Spanberger (D.) rejected it out of hand. Because government can never do without more money. Let the people suffer.
Pennsylvania Democrat legislators introduced a resolution commemorating “Women’s History Month”. When Republican legislators filed an amendment to the resolution, defining who/what constituted a “woman”, Democrats quickly withdrew the resolution from consideration. Because they are scared to death of their whacked out constituents.
Yesterday, on Palm Sunday, more than 1,000 Episcopalians marched to the Michigan State Capitol building in Lansing. They placed their palm fronds on the Capitol’s steps, and demanded in the name of the Jesus that government did more; more for people to have healthcare, food, housing, to be more welcoming to illegal aliens, and for dignity to be afforded to all persons. Which is quite interesting, since you can read the entire Bible, cover to cover, the Old Testament, the New Testament, and you will never find God, and you will never find Jesus, commanding government to do anything. No, God commands individuals to do good works. Jesus instructs his followers to do good works. But The Episcopal Church USA has forgotten the story. Christians do not get to outsource their responsibilities for their neighbors, the poor, and the sick to the government. God does not advocate for government contracting. But the Episcopal Church is more interested in government action, instead of individual responsibility and duty. Because The Episcopal Church as an entity is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Democrat Party. And that is sad.
Blue Bell’s creamery unveiled Brookie À La Mode Ice Cream, available in stores now. It is a delicious combination of two of the most popular baked desserts: a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie. Mix that with Blue Bell ice cream. YUM!
The Clayton Club Saloon is a dark, Western-themed dive bar with the cowboy boots of fallen regulars dangling from the ceiling and, outside, hitching posts for horses that are still used today. The bar has anchored the tiny historic downtown of Clayton, at the foot of Mount Diablo, since 1873. It has survived the Great Depression, Prohibition, and numerous owners and name changes. But yesterday, after 153 years, the Clayton Club Saloon closed for good. Very sad.
Päivi Räsänen, a medical doctor by trade, and a member of Finland’s Parliament, claims that homosexuality is a developmental disorder. She included that claim in a church pamphlet, with Biblical quotes to support her claims. Notwithstanding all of this, she has now been convicted of the crime of inciting “hatred”. The court found that while her citations and recitation of Biblical quotes were protected, Mrs. Rasanen was still guilty of a crime, because she actually believed in the Scripture.

Eldrick Woods was arrested in Jupiter, Florida for driving under the influence. He was speeding through a residential neighborhood, and attempted to pass a gardening truck hauling a trailer. His Land Rover clipped the trailer, and overturned in the roadway. Thankfully, no one was injured.
Eldrick refused to submit to a urinalysis test, and will now lose his license for 18 months. He will likely also be convicted of the DUI charge, and face further punishment. Good. Eldrick Woods may be a great golfer, but he is also a selfish, self-entitled SOB, who deserves public shame and scorn. This is not an isolated incident. And this could have turned out so much worse. Someone should take his keys away, for good.
On occasion, I represent individuals charged with drunk driving. If someone comes to me with their 1st charge, usually not involved in any sort of accident or high speed, I try and show them some compassion. People make mistakes, and an isolated incident of driving under the influence does not make you a bad person. The important thing is to learn, and to not do it again. By contrast, this is the 4th incident Eldrick Woods has had with an automobile. That we know of. I would submit that Eldrick Woods is a bad person, who does not learn from his mistakes. He does not care. If this continues, real tragedy will occur.

It is estimated that more than $170 million was spent in Martinsville and Henry County this past race weekend. That is a lot of beer and hot dogs.
The NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament Final Four has been determined. Arizona will play Michigan in the semi-finals, and Illinois will play Connecticut in the semi-finals. The winners will square off on Monday, April 6, for the National Championship.
